Meeting location

Winchester, Virginia is home to Shenandoah University (SU), where Rev. DeLyn Celec is the university chaplain. Visiting Winchester allows us to see DeLyn’s ministry site and enjoy the fall season in Virginia’s Appalachian mountains.

Winchester is a 45-60 minute drive from Dulles International Airport and a 60-90 minute drive from Washington, DC. It also offers the opportunity for us to talk with rural clergy people about the joys and challenges of rural ministry and to discuss new and justice-centered ministries they have, connect with professors at SU, and learn about the history of Winchester and the Shenandoah Valley.
